Need to remove motor from 90 Isuzu spacecab p/u. 2.6 and cannot see or find any lifting tabs or hangers per Chilton repair manual. Anybody know where to hook a engine lift at without tearing up motor? I'd appreciate any help with this, thanks for your time, Ray S. Fernley, NV.

Thanks to all who looked at the post. I'll just start tearing it apart and see where I can find. Once the head is off, I should be able to bolt to the block and lift it out. After some of the clutter is cleared off the motor, maybe I can see the hangers. Maybe Laughing

I have found that some engines have tabs, some don't. I have also found many have a front tab but no rear one.

I made a short chain with 3mm thick flat bar ends that work fine when bolted to the manifold studs, one on the exhaust side, one on the intake side.

Poida, thanks for the info. I just about did it the way you mentioned. I didn't trust the aluminum manifold to hold alot of weight, but between the power steering bracket and the motor mount I got it out. Found a spot I'll try instead of the motor mount on left side of block. I'd like to drop the tranny and bolt it back up to motor prior to reinstalling the unit. Be a whole lot easier on me Wink Again, thanks for your time with this, Ray S.
