Agreed, my old clutch cable was gone, went down to repco n got a new one n noticed a big difference, most of the past geminis ive owned ive always kept the clutch cable that came with the car but this current one i changed with a brand new one and noticed a big difference. Cost me around $65 from memory but definatly worth it.

Just a side note (not trying to steal a sale or anything) I have got some brand new OEM clutch cables if you do end up choosing to buy new.

If you are just running a stocky car with a stocky clutch a good used one that doesn't feel like it's binding at all should be ok.

If you have a heavy duty clutch or you like hard, fast clutch work, you will be better off buying a new one.
