does anyone know where you buy new headlinings for a TX Gem

Ebay sells them or any good motor trimmer can make one. You will be hard pressed trying to get the same material as the original though.

I bought one for my coupe off Ebay and was going to install it myself but decided to get a guy in to do it. He only charged me $50.00. The lining didn't fit exactly so he unstitched it and re-sewed it again. Best you get a quote from a motor trimmer mate.

One of the tricks is to heat the lining while installing.

We used horizontally resting electric radiators, and I think they'd be better than fan heaters - depending on gravimetric cut-out switches LOL!
